Design Communities
With the ever growing popularity of invite-only design communities I thought I’d compile a list of my top 3 and offer a few invites while I’m at it. 1. dribbble - Design only community with some excellent examples of UI, Typography and Illustration. Brilliant place to find some inspiration but the critique and comments are less constructive than others. 2. forrst - Excellent community for both designers and developers. The quality of design isn’t to the best standard but critique and comments are second to none. Friendly users and a very talented community of developers. 3. ffffound - A bookmarking tool where users bookmark pieces of inspiration. This can range from photography to typography to the straight up weird. And if that has inspired you to join then listen up..
