Website Redesign
I have recently redesigned and updated my portfolio website and for the first time spent a fair bit of time doing so. As well as looking at the aesthetic qualities of the site I have tried to implement new technologies that have come along, mainly so I can have a bit of a play! First off I have a brand new version of expression engine on my server. I have used expression engine before and I like its simplistic format, both in its UI and when it comes to creating themes. Its also a bit of fresh air from word press. I have also experimented with WOFF font embedding which Microsoft recently announced would be supported in their new IE9 browser. You can see some awesome experiments using WOFF over at lost world fairs. WOFF is basically a compressed OTF format and seems to be widely becoming the norm for font embedding.
